Cancellation & Refund Policy
1. Digital Nature of Service
IndiaStatement provides digital services (PDF to Excel/CSV conversion). Once a conversion is initiated or credits are consumed, the service is considered "delivered." Due to the digital nature of our services, we generally do not offer refunds once the credits have been used.
2. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be granted under the following specific circumstances:
- Technical Failure: If a conversion fails due to a bug in our system and no data is extracted, yet credits were deducted.
- Duplicate Payment: If you were charged twice for the same transaction due to a payment gateway error.
- Unused Credits: Refund requests for fully unused credit packs made within 7 days of purchase.
3. Subscriptions (Monthly & Annual)
For our subscription-based plans, the following rules apply:
- Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Your access will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle.
- No Refunds on Active Cycles: We do not offer prorated refunds for the remaining period of a monthly or annual subscription.
- Renewal: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled. It is the user's responsibility to cancel before the next billing date.
4. Non-Refundable Cases
Refunds will not be provided if:
- The user uploaded an unsupported file format or a password-protected PDF.
- The output accuracy is low due to poor scan quality or blurred text in the source document.
- The user changed their mind after credits were already consumed or the subscription period has started.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email us at support@indiastatement.com with your transaction ID and the reason for the request. We aim to process all valid refund requests within 5-7 business days.
